Hyderabad: T-town’s handsome hunk Rana Daggubati has turned 37 and his fans and co-stars in the film industry cannot keep calm. Wishes have been pouring in on social media for the ‘Baahubali’ star on his special day. “Happy birthday you crazy person. Have a fab fab year and more power to you for the countless things you do,” wished Rakul Preet Singh, along with a photo with Rana.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu penned a sweet note for the actor. She wrote, “Happy birthday… wishing you only the best always. You are the mightiest with the biggest heart. God’s favourite.” To which, Rana replied, “Thank you so much Ruth.”
On the other hand, Anushka Shetty dug out an old picture with her former co-star Rana and shared on Instagram, “Happu Happu Happppppuest bday brooo wish u the bestest in life with lots of Love @ranadaggubati (sic).” “Broooo what a crazy old picture,” replied Rana in the comments section.
Sai Pallavi, Navdeep, Dulquer Salmaan, his uncle Venkatesh, Brahmaji, Vishwak Sen, Sushanth and Ritu Varma were some of the other stars from the film industry who wished Rana.
Meanwhile, Suresh Productions released a teaser titled ‘The Voice Of Ravanna’ from ‘Virata Parvam’ on the occasion Rana’s birthday, announcing that the trailer will be out on Sankranti. Fans couldn’t stop talking about the chemistry between Rana and Sai Pallavi in the video.
The period drama film is written and directed by Venu Udugula, and produced by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. Rana is set to play the role of Comrade Ravanna, while Sai Pallavi plays his love interest Vennela. The plot of the film revolves around the Naxalite movement that took place in Telangana region in the 1990s. Initially scheduled to release on April 30, 2021, it has been postponed due to the Covid-19 situation in India.
