Fruit vendor held for sexually abusing boy in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally

7-year-old boy goes to fruit vendor's house to ask for some fruits; accused takes him into bathroom and sexually abuses him

Hyderabad: A fruit vendor was taken into police custody for allegedly sexually abusing a boy at Kukatpally on Tuesday night.

The boy (7) went to the fruit vendor’s house to ask for some fruits. The man, who noticed that no one was around, took the boy into the bathroom and sexually abused him.

Frightened, the boy shouted for help, and fearing people might catch him, the vendor allowed the boy to leave.

The child reached home and informed his parents, who caught hold of the vendor. The locals thrashed the man and handed him over to police.

The police are investigating.
