Hyderabad: Fuel prices in Hyderabad continue to rise. On Sunday, petrol and diesel prices in the city reached Rs 113.71 per litre and Rs 106.98 per litre respectively.
In the last ten days itself, petrol prices have increased by Rs 2.89 per litre; whereas diesel has seen a hike of Rs 3.04 for every litre.
In October, fuel prices have been hiked more than 10 times. On October 1, the per litre price of petrol and diesel in the city were Rs 106 and Rs 98.39, respectively.
As the international market continues to be volatile, it is expected that the prices will continue to rise even for the next couple of weeks. On Friday, Brent Crude Oil was trading at $83.53, closing at a low of 0.23 per cent. While the Telangana State Dealers’ Association is expecting the prices to stabilize after a few days, they may not come down.
