Hyderabad: The daily horror of seeing fuel prices inch up paise by paise is back, with petrol and diesel prices being hiked for the third time in last four days on Friday.
The price of petrol in Hyderabad went up by 91 paise, to be pegged at Rs.110.91 a litre, whereas Diesel is Rs 97.24 a litre.
The hikes, coming for the third time in four days after a record 137-day hiatus in the daily dynamic pricing system, are likely to continue for another couple of weeks, dealers here said.
The prices were put on hold after November 4 ahead of assembly elections in States like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, a period that saw Russia going on a bombing spree against Ukraine and when the cost of crude oil soared by USD 30 per barrel.
