Gachibowli Police issue notice to IAS officer Smita Sabharwal in Kancha Gachibowli land dispute probe
As there was no response from the IAS officer, the police are planning to send her a notice for the second time
Hyderabad: The Gachibowli police have issued a notice to Smita Sabharwal, urging the senior IAS officer to share any information regarding the Kancha Gachibowli disputed land case to the investigation officials on Wednesday. However, as there was no response from the officer, the police are planning to send her a notice for the second time.
In the notice, the police said ‘as the case pertaining to spreading fake news by sharing morphed and edited clips, videos and images on social media platforms was already under investigation, it has been found that the officer had reposted certain content on her verified X account’.
“Since you appear to be acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case, you may appear before the investigation officer at a place of your choice to provide any information which may be available with you regarding the same,” the notice read.
However, as there was no response from her, the police are planning to issue another notice.
“We did not get any response to the notice served to her earlier. We may issue another notice to the officer seeking her appearance before the police officers at the place of her choice to share any information she has with her,” said a police official from Gachibowli.
