Galaxy S26 Series sales begin at Master Telecommunications
Deliveries of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series began in Hyderabad as pre-booked customers collected their smartphones from a retail outlet in Punjagutta. The new lineup features AI tools, improved performance and the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s built-in Privacy Display

Hyderabad: Sales of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series for pre-booked customers commenced at Master Telecommunications in Punjagutta on Thursday. Customers who had reserved the devices earlier were invited to collect their smartphones.
Proprietor Sameer Mohammed, along with Samsung officials, handed over the newly launched phones to customers. Among those present were Samsung officials Muralidharan M K, Regional Sales Manager; Nikhil Kotian, Regional Marketing Manager; Upendra Ashok Sanku, Zonal Sales Manager; Sudheer Kumar Manepally, Area Sales Manager; and Newport Jashua, Area Sales Manager. The event marked the beginning of retail deliveries of the Galaxy S26, S26 , and S26 Ultra models in the city.
Privacy Display and Performance
The new Galaxy S26 series introduces improvements in privacy protection, artificial intelligence features and performance. The highlight of the lineup is the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s built-in Privacy Display, which prevents people nearby from viewing the screen from side angles. Unlike conventional privacy screen protectors, the feature is integrated directly into the phone’s display and can activate automatically while entering passwords, using banking applications or viewing personal messages.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Samsung says the new chipset offers faster processing and improved AI performance compared to the previous generation. The phones also include an upgraded cooling system for stable performance during gaming and multitasking.
Battery capacity varies across the models, with the Galaxy S26 featuring a 4,300mAh battery, the S26 carrying a 4,900mAh unit and the S26 Ultra equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
Camera and Prices
Samsung has also upgraded the camera system on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The device features a 200-megapixel main camera along with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses designed for improved low-light photography and stable video recording. The series also introduces Galaxy AI tools that allow users to edit photos, remove unwanted objects and enhance images using simple commands.
In India, the Galaxy S26 is priced from Rs 87,999, while the Galaxy S26 starts at Rs 1,19,999. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,39,999 for the 12GB 256GB variant, Rs 1,59,999 for the 12GB 512GB version and Rs 1,89,999 for the 16GB 1TB model. The smartphones are available in colors including Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, White and Black. Pre-orders began earlier and deliveries to customers have now started through retail outlets including Master Telecommunications in Hyderabad.
