Gandipally in Siddipet records 46.1 degree C
Siddipet recorded temperatures above 46 degree C for the second consecutive day, with Gandipally in Akkannapet mandal registering the highest reading of 46.1 degree C. Hot and humid conditions continued across the erstwhile Medak district, forcing people to remain indoors.

Siddipet: Temperatures crossed 46 degree C for the second consecutive day in Siddipet on Thursday.
Gandipally in Akkannapet mandal recorded the highest temperature at 46.1 degree C, while Pedda Shankarampet in Medak recorded 45.1 degree C. Nizampet in Sangareddy district recorded 44.1 degree C.
Most parts of the erstwhile Medak district recorded temperatures above 43 degree C as hot and humid conditions prevailed. People stayed indoors during the day. Roads wore a deserted look during the afternoons as people refrained from venturing out of their homes.
