Ganesh idol stolen from workshop on Medak outskirts
A Ganesh idol was stolen from a roadside idol-making unit in Medak on Tuesday night. CCTV footage showed four miscreants taking it in an auto-rickshaw. Police have registered a case and are reviewing the footage to trace the suspects
Medak: Unidentified miscreants stole a Ganesh idol from an idol-making unit on the outskirts of Medak town on Tuesday night. The idol manufacturers had placed several idols in a makeshift hut along the roadside.
When they returned on Wednesday morning, they discovered that one idol was missing. Upon checking CCTV footage, the unit owners found that four individuals had taken the idol in an auto-rickshaw.
A case was registered immediately. Police are reviewing the footage to identify the vehicle and those involved in the theft.
