Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar asked the TRS public representatives to support the party’s local bodies MLC candidates finalized by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. TRS party is preparing for local bodies’ MLC elections scheduled on December 10. As part of it, the Minister organised a preparatory meeting for erstwhile Karimnagar MLC polls in Karimnagar on Saturday.

Chairman of Kothapalli municipality, deputy mayor and corporators of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar informed that the party and Chief Minister would select TRS candidates to contest in local bodies’ MLC polls from the erstwhile Karimnagar district. Public representatives who won on the TRS ticket should exercise their votes to candidates finalized by the party. Supporting the Minister’s proposal, TRS public representatives promised to exercise their votes to the party candidates in MLC elections.


While Kamalakar is in-charge of Karimnagar and Rajanna-Sircilla districts MLC elections, Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar is in-charge of Peddapalli and Jagtial districts. Karimnagar Deputy Mayor Challa Swarupa Rani, Kothapalli Municipal Chairman Rudraraju, and others participated in the meeting.
