Ganja seized in two train operations; three arrested in Hyderabad

The RNCC unit of Eagle Force and GRP arrested three drug peddlers in two train operations in Hyderabad. Officers seized 8.1 kg of marijuana from the Konark Express and LTT Express. Citizens were urged to report drug activities through the 1908 helpline

Hyderabad: The Regional Narcotics Control Cell unit of Eagle Force along with the Government Railway Police arrested three drug peddlers in two separate train operations and seized a total of 8.1 kg of marijuana.

In the first case, officers caught Muna Prusty and Tikash Barik from Odisha on board the Konark Express and recovered 7 kg of marijuana being transported to Mumbai.

In another check on the LTT Express, the team detained one M Mohan Kumar Vijay and seized 1.1 kg of marijuana from him. He reportedly purchased it near Rayagada in Odisha.

Eagle Force urged citizens to report drug related activities to the 1908 helpline or through WhatsApp.
