Ganja smugglers on rampage at Bhadrachalam; Constable hit at check post
The bike riding smugglers carrying a bag hit a constable Ramachari with the bike when he tried to stop them and fled. The constable broke one of his legs and was shifted Hyderabad for better treatment after first aid locally.
Kothagudem: Suspected ganja smugglers hit a constable at police-forest check post at river Godavari at Bhadrachalam and fled the spot on Sunday.

Police started searching for the smugglers. It might be recalled that a similar incident occurred at the check post on February 16 on which three bike riding smugglers hit barricades injuring a constable and fled.
