Kothagudem: Police arrested three persons and seized dry ganja worth Rs 9.6 lakh at Bhadrachalam in the district on Saturday. ASP Dr. G Vineeth informed that ganja was seized during vehicle inspections near forest check post by CI T Swamy and staff. Three persons travelling in a car were found suspicious, their vehicle was stopped and on inspecting it police found marijuana weighing 48 kg. The arrested were identified as Tejawath Chanda of Maripada Bungalow, Vankudoth Venkateshwarlu and Karengula Srinivas of Gudur. They were transporting cannabis from Darakonda AP to Hyderabad.
