Ganta Srinivasa Rao ready to join YSRC, says Vijayasai Reddy

Visakhapatnam: Former minister and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Visakhapatnam North Ganta Srinivasa Rao is ready to join the YSR Congress Party, according to YSRCP Rajya Sabha member and North Andhra representative Vijayasai Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion of Ganta’s close associate B Kasi Viswanath joining the YSRCP here on Wednesday, he said Ganta could be admitted once the party high command gave the clearance.

“In the just concluded panchayat elections, 90 per cent of those who won were YSRCP candidates which showed that people loved Jagan,” the former TDP leader pointed out.

Kasi said that he had left Praja Rajyam Party to join the TDP which promised him MLC post time and again but never kept its word. He had distanced himself from the TDP for the past couple of years as there was no recognition to real workers, he added.
