Gas station cashier runs over watchman in rash driving incident at Falaknuma
A 66-year-old watchman was fatally hit by a mini gas tanker driven rashly by a cashier at a fuel station in Falaknuma on Sunday morning. The incident occurred while the victim was on duty.

Hyderabad: A 66-year-old man died after a gas tanker hit him at a gas station in Falaknuma on Sunday morning.
The victim, Mohammed Niyaz Ahmed, a resident of Talabkatta, worked at a gas station at Vattepally, Falaknuma, as a watchman.
On Sunday morning, Ravi Pandith, the cashier of the gas station, drove a mini gas tanker in a rash manner and hit Niyaz Ahmed, said Falaknuma sub inspector, Shaik Abdul Raheem.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. A case has been registered against Ravi and an investigation is underway.
Class 10 student leaps to death from 19th floor in Narsingi
Meanwhile, a teenager died by suicide at Narsingi on the outskirts of the city on Sunday morning.
The boy was identified as Siddharth Gopinath Nair (15), a student of class 10 at a private school.
According to the police, Gopinath woke up around 6 am and using the lift went up to the 19th floor of the apartment building. He then jumped from the terrace of the building and fell on the ground. He suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.
Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and after a preliminary examination, shifted the body for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered and the police are trying to ascertain the reasons that prompted the boy to end his life.
