Gautam Ghattamaneni gives Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ one star on Letterboxd

Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Ghattamaneni gave Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ one star on Letterboxd, criticising its editing and overall execution. His public ratings have previously attracted attention after he gave Yash’s ‘Toxic’ half a star and rated some of his father’s films

Mumbai: Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu’s son, Gautam Ghattamaneni, watched Nani’s recent release ‘The Paradise’ and gave it one star on his Letterboxd account, which was recently made public.

Sharing his views on ‘The Paradise’, Gautam wrote on his Letterboxd account: “I liked the cinematography and the acting in emotional scenes. I liked nothing else. Very disappointing. Also the editing was just atrocious (sic).”

Some time ago, Gautam’s Letterboxd account made headlines after he gave Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’ just half a star. He also rated some of his father Mahesh Babu’s films only two stars.

While Gautam initially removed the link from his Instagram bio, he later added it back. This time, he even shared a cheeky caption on his Letterboxd account that read: “Welcome to this apparently national news worthy page. I will try to live up to that,” followed by a sobbing emoji and a V-sign emoji.

Coming to ‘The Paradise’, the Telugu action drama has been directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under the banners of Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.

The film’s principal cast includes Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal, among others.

The project revolves around a struggling tribe in 1980s Secunderabad as its members battle discrimination, fight for citizenship and challenge systemic oppression.

‘The Paradise’ was released on September 24, 2026. Despite a strong opening at the box office, the film reportedly failed to sustain its performance at the ticket counters.

Mahesh Babu is currently working on SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited action-adventure film ‘Varanasi’. He will share screen space with Priyanka Chopra for the first time. Prithviraj Sukumaran will also play a key role in the film.
