Ghaziabad double murder: Man kills wife, 15-year-old daughter in Khoda

A man allegedly killed his wife and 15-year-old daughter and injured his 14-year-old daughter in Ghaziabad's Khoda Colony, police said. The accused, Raja Ansari, has been detained and is being questioned, while police investigate the suspected domestic dispute.

Ghaziabad: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife and 15-year-old daughter in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, officials said on Saturday, adding that his other 14-year-old daughter was injured in the attack.

The incident occurred late on Friday in the Lokpriya Vihar area of ​​Khoda Colony in Ghaziabad.


Upon receiving information, a team from the Khoda police station arrived at the scene and immediately admitted the injured girl to the hospital. The injured child is now out of danger and is undergoing treatment.

According to police, at around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, Khoda police station received information that a man had murdered his wife and daughter in Gali No. 3 of Lokpriya Vihar.

A police team immediately arrived at the scene. Investigations at the scene revealed that the accused, Raja Ansari, originally from Bihar’s Araria, lived on the fourth floor of a house in Lokpriya Vihar with his wife, Bibi Tabassum, and two daughters, Sana Tabassum and Ruby Tabassum.

Late at night, Raja Ansari attacked his wife, Bibi Tabassum, and his 15-year-old daughter, Sana Tabassum. Both died in the attack. His other daughter, 14-year-old Ruby Tabassum, was also injured in the attack.

Upon learning of the incident, residents immediately informed the police. The police immediately rushed the injured girl to MG Hospital, where she is receiving treatment. Officials said that her condition is now reported to be out of danger.

The police have taken the bodies of the two deceased into custody and are preparing to send them for post-mortem examination.

Following the incident, the police detained the accused, Raja Ansari, and he is currently being questioned in detail about the incident. Preliminary information suggests a domestic dispute, but the actual cause of the murder will only be known after a detailed police investigation and interrogation, officials said.

Police are collecting evidence from the scene and questioning people nearby.

Indirapuram Assistant Commissioner of Police, Suryabali Maurya, speaking about the crime, said, “At around 12:15 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, Khoda police station received information about a murder in Gali No. 3 of Lokpriya Vihar. Police immediately arrived at the scene. Investigation revealed that Raja Ansari had murdered his wife, Bibi Tabassum, and daughter, Sana Tabassum, and that his other daughter, Ruby Tabassum, was injured.”

ACP Maurya said that the accused is being interrogated in custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.

Police are currently investigating and trying to determine what prompted the accused to attack his wife and daughter.
