GHMC Additional Commissioner reviews Uppal flyover progress

GHMC Additional Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy inspected the ongoing flyover construction at Uppal Junction on Wednesday. He held discussions with senior civic officials, directing them to resolve land acquisition hurdles to expedite the project.

Hyderabad: The GHMC Additional Commissioner (Malkajgiri, Uppal and LB Nagar Zones) Vinay Krishna Reddy on Wednesday inspected the ongoing flyover works at Uppal Junction.

During the inspection, discussions were held with the Uppal Zonal Commissioner, Chief Engineer (H-CITI), Superintending Engineer (H-CITI), Executive Engineer (H-CITI), City Planner (Uppal Zone) and Deputy Commissioner, Uppal Circle and he directed officials to focus on resolving land acquisition issues to expedite project progress.

The Additional Commissioner reviewed the status of land acquisition and instructed the Town Planning wing to fast-track the acquisition process to ensure timely completion of the flyover.

He also emphasised the need for close coordination among all concerned departments to prevent delays and accelerate the pace of construction work.
