GHMC Amberpet girls, Grassroots Rovers boys lift hockey titles
Grassroots Rovers, Pune defeated GHMC Amberpet 3-0 in the boys’ final, while GHMC Amberpet girls won 3-1 against Grassroots Rovers in the All India Hockey Tournament at Amberpet Playground. Special prizes were awarded to schools and standout players
Hyderabad: Grassroots Rovers, Pune defeated GHMC Amberpet Playground 3-0 in the boys’ final of the Grassroots All India Hockey Tournament organised at Amberpet Playground here.
In the girls’ final, GHMC Amberpet recorded a 3-1 win against Grassroots Rovers (Pune).
Special prizes were given to St Joseph’s High School (best disciplined team – boys), Hymavathi High School of Amberpet (best disciplined team – girls), Onkar Vijay Jadhav (best player – boys) and Riddhima (best player – girls).
