GHMC approves key infrastructure projects across Hyderabad
GHMC approved multiple infrastructure projects, including a multi-level parking near Chowmahalla Palace, flyovers, underpasses, and ROBs. Rasoolpura road expansion, Patigadda ROB, and a statue at Barkatpura are also planned, with Rs 500 crore allocated to Cyberabad and Malkajgiri.

Hyderabad: Several infrastructure works, including a multi-level parking complex near Chowmahalla Palace in Khilwat, were approved at a GHMC meeting held here on Monday.
According to a press release, Special Chief Secretary and MA&UD Special Officer, Jayesh Ranjan, during the meeting also approved certain key infra projects, including a revised plan for construction of a 4-lane unidirectional road at Rasoolpura Junction and 26 properties acquisition, construction of the left arm down ramp from the Owaisi Junction flyover towards Santosh Nagar. GHMC commissioner R V Karnan and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
The other approved projects included flyover and underpass works at NFCL and TV9 Junctions, flyover/grade separators at Rethibowli-Nanalnagar Junctions and acquisition of 106 properties, administrative permission for a parallel ROB at Falaknuma, renovation of Fatehnagar flyover, reconstruction of Afzal Sagar Nala, and installation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee statue at Barkatpura Junction
The meeting also approved a 6-lane grade separator at Mailardevpally-Shamshabad Road-Katedan Junctions, construction of Patigadda ROB and a budget allocation of Rs 500 crore each to Cyberabad and Malkajgiri Corporations.
