GHMC Commissioner inspects Shastripuram RoB after media report
GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan inspected the Shastripuram RoB after a media report and confirmed it is ready for inauguration. He also reviewed Nalgonda flyover works and directed officials to expedite construction for completion by June.
Hyderabad: After a report on ‘Hyderabad: Shastripuram RoB ready but awaits inauguration, commuters frustrated’ was carried in these columns, the GHMC Commissioner, RV Karnan, on Wednesday visited the Shastripuram RoB along with the Chief Engineer and Zonal Commissioner.
A press release said that during the inspection, officials noted that Shastripuram ROB has been completed and is ready for inauguration. Directions were issued to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance.
Later, the GHMC official visited Nalgonda flyover and found that the works were progressing at a brisk pace, with major components nearing completion. Deck slab concreting and girder erection for up & down ramps are underway. Officials were directed to mobilise resources and expedite works for completion by June.
