GHMC Commissioner reviews electoral roll revision exercise in Hyderabad
GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer R.V. Karnan reviewed the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Hyderabad on day one. The exercise involves door-to-door distribution of enumeration forms under BLO supervision, with officials directed to ensure transparency and smooth implementation.

Hyderabad: On day one of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, District Election Officer and GHMC commissioner, R V Karnan, on Thursday, reviewed the exercise in Hyderabad.
Karnan visited Gyani Zail Singh Nagar in Film Nagar under the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency and reviewed the distribution of electoral enumeration forms to the households.
A press release said that, as per the SIR schedule, distribution of enumeration forms commenced across Hyderabad district. The process was being carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in coordination with the appointed Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of recognised political parties, under the supervision of BLO supervisors, assistant electoral registration officers (AEROs), and electoral registration officers (EROs).
Karnan urged the officials to ensure that the entire exercise goes on with transparency and smooth implementation.
