GHMC Commissioner reviews Moosarambagh bridge, orders faster completion

GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan reviewed progress on the Moosarambagh downstream bridge and Nalgonda flyover projects on Thursday. He directed officials to accelerate construction works and ensure the bridge is opened to traffic at the earliest to ease commuter movement.

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan on Thursday inspected the Moosarambagh downstream bridge works and directed the engineering officials to speed up the works and open the facility for traffic at the earliest.

For the Moosarambagh downstream bridge, the bottom slab works were completed, and the last spans P3 & P4 were in progress. The works pertaining to the retaining wall works were in progress on the Amberpet side, according to a press release.


Later, he inspected works on Nalgonda flyover, for which 79 spans of 85 spans were completed while girders were already erected for all the 85 spans. The works of up ramp and down ramp of the flyover were in progress.
