GHMC launches ‘Property Tax Parishkaram’ every Sunday in March
GHMC will conduct ‘Property Tax Parishkaram’ every Sunday in March to address pending property tax issues. Officials will resolve grievances on the spot, covering assessments, arrears, payments, court cases, and IGRS-related matters at circle offices citywide.

Hyderabad: The GHMC will organise ‘Property Tax Parishkaram’ (PTP), a special grievance redressal programme, every Sunday in March, to address property tax-related issues of citizens in a time-bound manner.
The programme will be conducted on March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 10 am to 1 pm at all circle offices across the city. Deputy Commissioners, Valuation Officers/Assistant Municipal Commissioners and Tax Inspectors will be present to directly receive and resolve grievances.
The initiative aimed to expedite disposal of revision petitions, rectification of property tax assessments, posting of payments made through bill collectors, RTGS and online modes, correction of arrears, settlement of court cases as per rules, IGRS-related matters, self-assessment issues and other tax-related concerns, according to a press release.
GHMC urged taxpayers with pending issues to attend the Parishkaram along with relevant documents and avail themselves of the opportunity for on-the-spot resolution, it said.
