Hyderabad: Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi distributed safety kits worth Rs 10.80 crore to over 20,000 sanitation workers here on Wednesday. The kits consisted of a PPE kit, boots, towels and coconut oil.
Mayor pointed out that sanitation workers were playing a crucial role amid Covid-19 and added, “by keeping the city clean, sanitation workers are playing a key role in safeguarding the health of the people. Giving utmost priority to the heath of these workers, kits worth Rs 10 crore have been distributed,” she said.
