GHMC monsoon teams get busy after overnight rains

Hyderabad: With the city recording heavy rains overnight, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has pressed into service its monsoon teams and the Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams to clear rain related complaints.

The waterlogging was cleared, issues pertaining to drainage overflow, tangled wires and uprooted trees and branches were also being attended to, officials said.

Parts of Serilingampally, Mythrivanam in Ameerpet, Raj Bhavan Road and Meerpet HB Colony in Kapra were some localities where the monsoon teams cleared water logging..
