Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and Principal Census Officer for Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) RV Karnan said a total of 1.27 lakh households across the CURE region had completed self-enumeration online.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Karnan said a total of 19,868 House Listing Blocks (HLBs) in the CURE area had been created and digitally demarcated on the Census portal. He said 21,773 enumerators and 3,402 supervisors, including reserve staff, taking the total to 25,175 personnel, were trained through 693 training batches.
Enumerators will identify all buildings and census houses within the HLBs and carry out systematic numbering in a structured sequence as per guidelines.
Building numbers and census house numbers will be marked at the main entrance of structures to facilitate uniform identification and future field verification, he said.
The enumeration process started on May 11 and will continue till June 9. In case houses are found locked, the enumerators will revisit them and complete the enumeration process, Karnan said.
