GHMC sets December 20 deadline for 2026 trade licence renewal

GHMC has asked all trade establishments in Hyderabad to renew their 2026 trade licences by 20 December 2025 to avoid penalties. Applications submitted after the deadline will attract 25 percent or 50 percent penalties based on the submission date.

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has urged all trade establishments across the city to renew their trade licences for the year 2026 on or before 20 December 2025 to avoid penalties, the GHMC Commissioner said in an official release on Wednesday.

There will be zero penalty on applications submitted on or before 20 December. A 25 percent penalty will be imposed on applications submitted on or before 19 February 2026, and a 50 percent penalty will be imposed on applications submitted after 20 February 2026, the Commissioner added.
