GHMC takes up road safety drive in 7,500 locations across Hyderabad

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched an intensive road maintenance drive, aiming to fix potholes, catch pits, and damaged medians at 7,500 locations across the city within a week, in a bid to improve traffic flow and ensure motorist safety

Hyderabad: To ensure driver safety and prevent traffic disruptions on the city roads, the GHMC launched an intensive maintenance drive on Friday.

Under the supervision of the GHMC Engineering (Maintenance) wing, the drive expedited tasks such as filling potholes, repairing catch pits, and making minor repairs to central medians on identified BT/CC roads in 7,500 locations in the city.

GHMC Chief Engineer (Maintenance) Sahadev Ratnakar inspected the repair work on the main road at Erramanzil and said efforts were on to complete repair work on the identified problematic roads in 7,500 locations within a week.
