GHMC uploads ward details and maps following High Court directions
Following High Court directions, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) uploaded details of two wards, Shah Ali Banda and Langer Houz, covering population figures, boundary descriptions, and proposed maps. The data forms part of the preliminary Gazette notification for 300 wards issued on December 9.
Hyderabad: Based on the High Court directions, the GHMC authorities on Saturday uploaded details for two GHMC wards—104 (Shah Ali Banda – population 32761) and 134 (Langer Houz- population 50484)—including ward population, boundary description, proposed maps, and the map of the GHMC with the proposed 300 wards, as per the preliminary Gazette notification issued on December 9.
According to the GHMC authorities, in compliance with the directions issued by the High Court in the judgement, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation furnished the ward-wise population details and the map of the GHMC with the proposed 300 wards pertaining to all wards.
As directed, the same information was also published and made available on the notice board of the concerned circle and zonal offices, along with the head office of the GHMC at Tank Bund.
