Hyderabad: The GHMC’s road safety drive is currently being conducted in mission mode across the city.
As part of this initiative, 13,738 potholes have been filled so far. Repairs have been carried out on 755 catch pits and 18 central medians, while 356 catch pit covers have been replaced. Efforts are being expedited to ensure that all potholes on city roads are filled within a week, said in an official release.
The GHMC commissioner R V Karnan is continuously monitoring the situation and directed the officials concerned to speed up the drive and avoid inconvenience to the commuters, according to an official statement issued on Friday.
