Gitanjali Devashray celebrates TS statehood, culture

The culmination was drawn with the National Anthem being rendered, in an inclusive manner.

Gitanjali Devashray augmented the Telangana Formation Day fervour on June 2, on a virtual scaffold. The event opened with a welcome note by Shrikha Rao followed by a soulful rendition, invoking the divine intervention by Sree Krupa.

The historic value of Telangana, the struggle of the visionaries for statehood and all the obstacles that they had to conquer to facilitate its formation was enumerated in English by Oishika Bandhyopadyay as well as in Telugu by Akshita Gattu .

A class X student Sudhatri Valmikam extempored the importance of Queen Sumitra in the Ramayan for which she was awarded at a literary event. The event concluded with a traditional dance where the cultural facet reflecting Telangana art was oriented. The culmination was drawn with the National Anthem being rendered, in an inclusive manner. Management, Heads, staff, students and parents of Devashray remain nostalgic about this annual celebration.
