Gitanjali Devashray: Freedom walks, skits mark I-Day celebrations

Gitanjali Group of Schools celebrated the 75th Independence Day with patriot fervour and enthusiasm. Gitanjali Primary School played host and the highlights of this celebration was a prayer presentation titled, ‘Hues of Pride’ and a competition, ‘Melodies of Pride’ among all its branches which involved song based presentations along with visual and dramatic representation on the tagline, I owe my freedom to…., in the form of a video. The stalwarts of music Geetha Sunderasan and Supriti Chakraborti were the esteemed judges for this innovative competition. They adjudged Gitanjali Devashray, the winner.

The programme was conceptualized by headmistress Renee Dutta and executed effectively by the primary team, the school said.
