Gitanjali Devashray: Students, parents make most of wellness session

During this period of uncertainty with the on-going pandemic, all of us need to eat healthy and also stay physically fit.

Gitanjali Devashray organised a holistic wellness session for students and parents from classes V to VIII of the Gitanjali Group of School. We believe in keeping the morale of our parents and children high, the school said.

During this period of uncertainty with the on-going pandemic, all of us need to eat healthy and also stay physically fit. This is very crucial for our overall well-being both physically and mentally.

The session began with an emphasis on good and healthy eating habits. This was facilitated by Arpana Gupta, a faculty member of Gitanjali Devashray. She shared some simple, easy and healthy recipes to build immunity levels these included a few varieties of infused water, homemade protein powder recipes and also some extremely effective concoctions to help prevent and protect from this bad health.

This was followed by an invigorating and high-energy-packed Zumba workout led by Nagashetty founder-director of Dance Mania Dance and Fitness Studios, Hyderabad. He is a certified Zumba fitness instructor. Both the students and parents matched their steps to his beats and were left feeling upbeat and happy.

The holistic session was a highly enjoyable session where parents and children bonded over healthy recipes and also with a high-energy fitness workout, thus making the bond between parent and child stronger and healthier.
