Hyderabad: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL due to a fractured finger.
Maxwell, who has been having an indifferent season so far this season for Punjab Kings with just 48 runs from seven games, could have been a perfect spin bowling option in the business end of the IPL.
It will be interesting to see who will be the foreign replacement for Punjab with not many foreign players available in view of the Pakistan Super League also being held simultaneously.
