Global experts to gather in Hyderabad for FSOSCB–2025 at IICT

IICT Hyderabad will host the International Symposium on ‘Frontiers in Sustainable Organic Synthesis and Chemical Biology (FSOSCB–2025)’ on October 13–14. The event will feature global experts, 500 delegates, and 120 poster presentations focused on sustainable and green chemistry

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) is organising a two-day International Symposium on ‘Frontiers in Sustainable Organic Synthesis and Chemical Biology (FSOSCB–2025)’ from October 13–14, 2025, at its campus in Tarnaka, Hyderabad.

The FSOSCB–2025 symposium will serve as an international platform for scientists, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances and emerging trends in sustainable synthesis and chemical biology.


The event will feature lectures by eminent speakers from Germany, USA, Singapore and France, who are pioneers in their respective fields.

The central theme of the event will focus on sustainable approaches in organic synthesis and chemical biology, highlighting green chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, catalysis, and natural product-inspired transformations, Director, IICT Dr D Srinivasa Reddy said, while inaugurating the function.

The symposium convener, Dr Ch Raji Reddy, Chief Scientist at IICT, said that more than 500 delegates from India and abroad are expected to participate in this mega event. The scientific programme includes plenary and invited lectures, and over 120 poster presentations, predominantly by young researchers and students. More than 100 delegates from various pharmaceutical companies are participating to learn about these advanced sustainable practices.
