GMR Hyderabad International Airport launches more travel options from Hyd to Phuket
Air India Express will operate three weekly flights initially, and from February 15 the frequency of the flights will be six days a week. The duration of the flight is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) on Friday announced the launch of new flight services between Phuket and Hyderabad, enhancing international connectivity for travellers.
The inaugural flight took off on Friday. To begin with, Air India Express will operate three weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and from February 15 the frequency of the flights will be six days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The duration of the flight is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Pradeep Panicker, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, said, “The introduction of these new flights will significantly enhance connectivity between Phuket and Hyderabad. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to provide more travel options from the Hyderabad Airport.”
Aloke Singh, managing director, Air India Express, commented, “We are delighted to be the first airlines to introduce direct flights between Hyderabad and Phuket. This addition complements our existing connectivity to all three key airports in Saudi Arabia — Dammam, Jeddah, and Riyadh — enhancing accessibility for travellers.”
