GMR School of Aviation partners with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya for aviation skills training
GMR School of Aviation has partnered with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to offer a specialised B.Sc. programme in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The initiative aims to bridge the aviation skill gap by combining academic education with industry-oriented technical training aligned with MRO sector requirements.

Hyderabad: GMR School of Aviation has partnered with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to bridge the skill gap in India’s aviation sector by integrating academic learning with industry-oriented technical training.
Through this partnership, the students can gain access to the specialised curriculum for the B.Sc. (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) Programme, duly recognised by the regulatory and Academic Frameworks and aligned with real-world MRO requirements.
The partnership combines GSV’s academic and research capabilities with the GMR School of Aviation’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licensing Programme, approved by DGCA & EASA and operational MRO exposure.
Announcing the partnership, Prof Manoj Choudhary (Vice-Chancellor, GSV) said, “Working in the true spirit of Industry-Academia collaboration, GSV and GMR School of Aviation collaboration shall create industry-ready human capital for India’s growing Aviation MRO Sector and therefore contribute directly to national priorities.”
