GNITS hosts session on leadership development, Global Capability Centres
A leadership and career development programme at GNITS in Hyderabad highlighted the city’s growth as a technology hub. Experts discussed the need to strengthen leadership development and encouraged students to focus on building meaningful careers and leadership skills.

Hyderabad: An informative program focusing on leadership, career development, and the growing role of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) was held at G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS), Hyderabad.
Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Special Projects in the Chief Minister’s Office, who was the chief guest, stated that Hyderabad continues to emerge as a major business and technology hub.
Pratyusha Sharma, Head – Human Resources at Invesco India Pvt Ltd., spoke about the need for stronger leadership development in the city. She observed that although Hyderabad is experiencing rapid growth across industries, there remains a gap in leadership development, and emphasised the importance of nurturing future leaders.
G Srividya Reddy, Vice Chairperson of GNITS, advised students and young professionals to “find a career, not just a job” and highlighted the significance of Women Leadership initiatives (WLC) and stressed the importance of developing leadership within organisations.
