Hyderabad: Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad here seized gold worth around Rs 91 lakh from a person who arrived here on a Pune-Hyderabad flight on Tuesday.
Following specific inputs, it was during routine checking that the passenger was caught smuggling six gold biscuits weighing about 1867.600 grams concealed in his luggage.
Further investigations are underway, officials said.
