Gold futures climb Rs 294 to Rs 1.41 lakh per 10 gm on MCX

New Delhi: Gold prices on Monday increased by Rs 294 to Rs 1,41,200 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the yellow metal contract for August delivery traded higher by Rs 294, or 0.21 per cent, at Rs 1,41,200 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 720 lots. Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in precious metal prices, analysts said. Globally, gold futures fell 0.17 per cent to USD 4,010.69 per ounce in New York.
