Hyderabad: A woman approached the Banjara Hills police alleging that gold ornaments were stolen from her bag while traveling in a private bus.
The complainant K.Prasanna Satya from Navodaya Colony said in her complaint that on February 16, she along with her daughter boarded a bus belonging to Mythri Travels from Kakinada to Hyderabad.
The bus reached Ameerpet the next day and they went home. However, when they checked her bag on February 18, gold and silver ornaments were missing and the bag was cut open from the bottom. She told the police that the bag was kept in the luggage cabin.
Based on her complaint on Tuesday, the Banjara Hills police booked a case and are investigating.
