Yadadri-Bhongir: District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) chairman Gongidi Mahender Reddy on Wednesday said farmers of Telangana State were in a golden period due to the pro-agriculture policies of the TRS government. She said Telangana farmers were prospering at the time when the farmers of other States, were witnessing their worst period.
Inaugurating a free veterinary camp at Kacharam village of Yadagirigutta mandal in the district, Mahender Reddy said farmers of BJP-ruled States have been facing worst time due the anti-farmer policies of the respective governments. The BJP government at the Centre has also brought three new farm laws in favour of corporate companies and dentrimental to the interests of the farmers.
Stating that the TRS government was committed to the welfare of the farmers and protecting their interests in the light of central farm laws, he reminded that Rythu Bandhu and uninterrupted free power supply to agricultural sector, have become a model to the entire country in terms of farmers’ welfare. Improved irrigation facility was also enhanced the incomes of the farmers as the highest crop production recorded in the State, he added.
He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was working out a plan to avoid any hardship to the farmers in the state in any circumstances.
