Gomati Electronics owner, another man die after blasts and fire gut Shahalibanda showroom

Hyderabad: In a tragic development, Shivakumar Bansal (49), owner of Gomati Electronics, succumbed to severe burns at Apollo DRDO Hospital on Wednesday, two days after a series of late-night blasts and a fire gutted his Shahalibanda showroom.
The incident occurred around 11 pm on Monday, when three sudden explosions ripped through the shop. Within moments, flames engulfed the premises, leaving Bansal critically injured.
He collapsed inside the store and was later rushed to the hospital, where he remained in the burns ward until his death, police said.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man, aged around 50, who was standing near the shop at the time of the blasts, also suffered serious burns. He was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The Moghalpura Police who are investigating into the fire mishap to determine the exact cause of the explosions, preliminary suspect that an electrical malfunction or combustible materials to be the cause of fire.
However, police officials said the probe is still on and more details will be known.
They have also appealed to the the citizens to help identify the unidentified man who lost his life in the mishap.
