Hyderabad’s Goshamahal Police arrested a 59-year-old organiser for allegedly running an online cricket and racecourse betting racket through WhatsApp.

Hyderabad: The Goshamahal Police busted an online cricket betting racket and arrested a betting organiser from Begum Bazar on Friday.
The suspect, Venugopal Sharma (59), was allegedly running illegal cricket and racecourse betting activities through WhatsApp and other communication channels.
He collected betting amounts through intermediaries and deleted WhatsApp chats to conceal evidence.
