Hyderabad: Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that the State government hurriedly convened the State Legislature with the sole purpose of finishing its business rather than discussing problems faced by people of the State.

Terming registration through Dharani portal a scam, he said that it would further encourage illegal transactions.

Addressing the media after the Assembly session here on Tuesday, the CLP leader said the government was not prepared to listen to his party’s point of view on the Agricultural Land Conversion Amendment bill. He recalled various doubts expressed by the people even as the new Revenue Bill was introduced and alleged that wilful and wrong entries in Dharani portal and the conversion from agriculture to nonagricultural purposes based on Dharani data can lead to more problems. “Why did the government that said it would undertake a survey first hurriedly going for data entry into Dharani portal?” he questioned.
