Nirmal: A government teacher died by suicide by jumping into the Kaddam Narayana Reddy Project at Kaddampeddur mandal centre on Saturday. The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be known.
Police identified the deceased as Kuntla Rajashekhar Reddy. Irrigation officials alerted the police after witnessing him jump into the project. The police rushed to the spot and launched an inquiry into the incident. They said the reason for the suicide would be known once a complaint was received from his family members.
