Government teacher fighting health issues ends life in Mancherial
According to the police, Tapre Santosh, a Hindi language teacher at a primary school in Kalmalapet village, Vemanapalli mandal, and a resident of Adilabad district headquarters, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room in Chennur town at 8 PM on Sunday. Before taking his life, he had dropped off his wife, son, and daughter in Adilabad town.
Mancherial: A 40-year-old government teacher died, allegedly by suicide, as he was unable to bear depression caused by health problems in Chennur town on Sunday evening.
Police said Tapre Santosh from Adilabad district headquarters and a Hindi language teacher at a primary school in Kalmalapet village in Vemanapalli mandal was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room in Chennur town on Sunday 8 pm. He had dropped his wife, son and daughter in Adilabad town before ending his life.
According to a suicide note purportedly written by him and recovered from his room, Santosh was undergoing severe stress caused due severe thyroid problem and certain skin-related ailments. He apologized to his family members for resorting to the drastic step. He was also depressed after being transferred to Kalmalapet from Kotapalli, some of his colleagues alleged.
Santosh had begun his career with the education department in 2012.
