Government to develop, construct new bus stations across Telangana
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar instructs officials to complete establishment of new depots and bus stations that have been approved by the board as soon as possible
Hyderabad: Efforts are on to develop all the bus depots and stations across the State apart from building new ones, said Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.
Speaking at the RTC Board meeting on Saturday, he said the government will develop the existing 97 depots and bus stations along with the establishment of new depots.
Prabhakar instructed the officials to complete the establishment of new depots and bus stations that have been approved by the board as soon as possible.
Key decisions:
Construction of new depots in:
* Peddapalli (Rs 11.7 cr)
* Eturunagaram (Rs 6.2 cr)
* Mulugu (Rs 5.1 cr)
* Huzurnagar (Rs 3.7 cr)
* Madhira (Rs 10 cr)
* Expansion of Manthani bus station: Rs 95 lakh
*Construction of modern bus station at Kodad: Rs 19.9 cr
*Modern bus station in Kaleshwaram
