Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan’s mother passes away

Krishna Kumari was admitted to the hospital following brief illness. She breathed her last due to age-related complications, leaving the family members of Governor Dr Tamilsai Soundarajan are in deep sorrow.

Hyderabad: Krishna Kumari, mother of Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, has passed away at a private hospital in Somajiguda in the wee hours of Wednesday. She was 77.

Krishna Kumari was admitted to the hospital following brief illness. She breathed her last due to age-related complications, leaving the family members of Governor Dr Tamilsai Soundarajan are in deep sorrow.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Ministers KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao and other leaders from different political parties expressed their grief and extended condolences to the family members.

The body will be kept at Raj Bhavan till noon where the Chief Minister and other dignitaries are expected to pay their last respects. Later, she will be moved to Chennai for the funeral.
