Govt approves University College of Engineering under Telangana University

The Telangana government has approved the establishment of a University College of Engineering under Telangana University, Nizamabad, from the 2025–26 academic year. The college will offer four BTech programmes with 60 seats each. Orders were issued by Education Secretary Dr Yogita Rana

Hyderabad: The State government has accorded administrative sanction for establishment of University College of Engineering under Telangana University, Nizamabad, from the academic year 2025-26.

An order to this effect was issued by Education Department Secretary Dr Yogita Rana on Thursday.


The college will offer four programmes – BTech CSE, BTech CSE AI & ML, BTech Computer Science & IT and BTech Data Science. Each programme will have an intake of 60 students. Telangana University Registrar has been asked to take necessary steps in the matter.
